Noppoo Choc Mid 87 with Linux
« on: Wed, 05 June 2013, 14:20:47 »
Hey guys,

Does anyone know if the Choc Mid works ok under Linux? I know the mini works (or at least a few posts here and there suggest it does) but I wasn't sure if they used the same/similar controller and I know that Macs aren't too happy with the mini.

Also the mid has a fully standard layout doesn't it? No quirky space bar or funny stem spacing?

Thanks in advance.

Linux is perfectly happy with the Choco MINI.

I like keyboards and case modding.  Everything about a computer should be silent -- except the KEYBOARD!

Thanks for confirming the Mini works, I would snap up a Mini but the limited replacement caps is a turn off.

I may just risk the Mid. I have a Leopold which I am pretty sure works with Linux, it just wasn't my plan to take it to work originally. Now to find a decent price in the UK...

You shouldn't run into any show-stopping issues.

The only thing that sometimes doesn't work are some extra macro/multimedia keys.
