I'm new to geekhack! I dont actually have a mechanical keyboard yet, but i'll be getting one next week. My current keyboard is the Logitech G110, which isn't bad at all, but not good enough for me. I will most likely be getting a QuickFire Rapid with black swithches. I'm planning on putting a blank 39 keyset (iso) on it, probably in dark grey (suggestions for that?). Right now the only mechanical-related thing i have is the wasdkeyboards sample kit, but i'm getting the KMC key puller (i hope that's what it's called), and kmiller8 has sold me some sweet novelty keycaps.
In the future i will probably also contribute with some keycap making (or try at least!). Oh, and im also practicing touch typing! Getting better each day.
