WTB: Aluminum ErgoDox case
« on: Thu, 13 June 2013, 04:51:30 »
Anybody have DSA Retro blank modifiers for the ErgoDox they are willing to sell? FOUND!

Anyone have a spare aluminum ErgoDox case?  Not the full hand, the smaller one.

Thanks!

I put out the same request a month ago. With all the complaints about the aluminum case, you'd think people would be lining up to get rid of them.

Yeah, that is what I heard.  I really just want an aluminum top and bottom layer to my case.

Fortunately, those are probably the simplest two layers to cut. What will you use for the center layers?

I'm going to mill a two piece aluminum case this summer for my next ErgoDox keyboard experiment. I wonder though, if I make a new type of case, heavily modify the PCB and rearrange the key placement, will it still be proper to call it an ErgoDox?
