Greetings everyone here at GH! You can call me Jack, and I've actually been lurking on this forum for a couple of weeks now. It's always great to find online communities devoted to a niche interest that you have, and keyboards have slowly become a very important thing in my life since I built my own gaming computer 2 years ago. Also, I've found the community here to be really great from everything I've read so far, so hopefully I can become a part of that. I'll probably be on here a lot since it's one of the few forums I can access at my job
To give you a little bit about myself; I'm not an insanely fast typist, usually anywhere from 80-100wpm. I'm real big into tactility and tactile feedback in everything I use, whether it be my keyboard or my car for instance. Originally I planned to buy a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate with my computer, but just didn't have the money for any extra peripherals once I completed it. I eventually got my hands on one, and despite the common opinion that a lot of Razer products don't have the best quality control (believe me, they don't), I really fell in love with the "feel" of mechanical switches.
Recently I managed to get my hands on a Cooler Master Storm Trigger with Cherry MX Greens, and I've absolutely fallen in love with them, so much so that I prefer them stratospherically so over the MX Blues in the Razer Blackwidow. Unfortunately I recently broke the Storm Trigger by stepping on the cord so hard I ripped the female end of the mini USB connection off the USB hub in the keyboard. However, I have a friend who's really good a soldering and I recently received some replacement connections so I might be able to fix it!!!
Anyway, I do have a couple of goals here, which is eventually to get my hands on one of them absolutely gorgeous Korean custom keyboards, such as an LZ-GH. Problem is, I really would want one in either MX Green or White switches, so if that means I have to have one created, then so be it, if that's even possibru lol. Also, I need to get my hands one of them gorgeous wrist wrests that The_Beast makes!
