Hi guys,
I recently bought a second hand Iphone 4s which had some errors. I assumed I could fix it since I've done some Iphone/Ipod fixing in the past. I got past two of them but now it seems it can't restore because it gets an unexpected error (-1). I browed around for a couple of days and I'm assuming this is hardware based since I already took everything apart with only the motherboard connected and then it still has the same issue. From what I've read I understand that this could be because it was jailbroken on a certain baseband and someone tried to update it to the newest firmware 6.1.3 which screwed with the baseband somehow. Of course I have no clue what else could have happened with the phone but it is in very good condition and everything else probably works except now nothing works of course ^^
I've read it could be fixed by reballing (reflowing, etc.) the baseband with an other one, together with the AND ram or something, this is not really my field of expertise. But then again, no guarantee if that might work.
So finally the question, are there any Iphone wizards out here (since this is almost a worldwide forum) who could have some insight or equipment to deal with this kind of stuff?
You would have my eternal gratitude

If not, I guess I can still sell it as-is or for parts.
Thanks muchachos! Jalapeņos for everyone!
