WTS: RollerMouse Free2
« on: Mon, 24 June 2013, 14:42:29 »

Asking $190 $180 $170 $160 shipped to North America (saves you $80 + shipping versus a new one). Interest from elsewhere is welcome, but I'll have to look up shipping costs.

If anybody has any question about the RollerMouse or ergonomic keyboards/pointing devices in general, feel free to ask. I've tried a fair number of things so I might be able to help and I'm always willing to record little video demos to show or compare things with commentary. I'm not a professional about it by any means but I can at least give an honest opinion.

This looks really cool. I wish I wasn't so broke.

Question: Could it be mounted such that I can just control it with my wrists, thus not having to move away from the keyboard at all?

I just tried it and no, not really. The front part of the RollerMouse is too tall and obstructs the rollerbar too much to use with your wrists reasonably.

Using your thumbs while keeping your fingers on the keyboard works pretty well though, and is usually how I use it.

I have the RollerMouse Free 2. It is AWESOME. If you search threads here, you'll find people that have gotten the RollerMouse have pretty much bailed on other pointing devices. It's addicting.

I'm trying to cut down a RollerMouse to about 9" and integrate it into a Kinesis Advantage.

If you need an extra RollerMouse to experiment with and have an extra Kinesis lying around, I might be interested in a trade.  ;)

I seem to recall you saying you had a bunch of Kinesiseseseses.

Yes, I haz Kinesiseseseses :)

I'm relocating this weekend so I'm out of commission on accessing my shizz probably for a month at this rate. But we can chat it up if you haven't sold her by that time :)
