First I would like to thank all the wonderful members here that have answered a lot of my questions while I have been building this.
I built my own keyboard using minimal money.
I bought a few used keyboards from a local pc repair/recycle shop.
I liked the feeling of the one with the amber Omron_B3G-S Alps the most.
So I desoldered all the switches and removed the pcb. then I cut the plate down to 60% size.
poker iso size.
I followed the lowpoly method demonstrated by Matt3o's build log threads for his steelbeauty and brown fox keyboards/ and samwisekoi's GH75 wiki page here

this page had the datasheet that unlocked the pinouts for the omron switches for me. (thanks Findecanor)

hasu has been very helpful as well in answering my questions to get it setup. Thanks!
