Oh my! I hope everyone was ok, i bet that was terrifying :-X
Yeah, I'm fine, thanks for the concern guys. Thankfully it hit on the passenger side rather than the driver side. It was some stupid bird, possibly a turkey vulture (?), that flew right in front of me. I slammed on the brakes but couldn't react fast enough. :| And the windshield repair place happened to be open on Saturday and was able to help me that day, so it ended up not being as bad as it could have been (I was travelling, so getting back home would have been interesting). But it did still get glass in ****ing everything.

Fortunately she only got some minor bruises, but the damage to the car was ridiculous.

This was mostly limited to windshield damage, so it wasn't the worst thing that could happen, by a long shot.
But you drive on the other side of the road, don't you? Then there would be more reaction time. And what big & fast animals live in Australia anyway?

Giving a 15 minute demo and presentation at 6pm on mechanical keyboards, switch types, and artisan keycaps for my comparative media studies and pop culture class. Hopefully I make a convert or two.

Gonna give someone a handful of clacks nonchalantly then be like "The value of my car is in the palm of you hand right now." Then talk about how the GH market place compares to Marxism and Freud's principles of utility vs experience, or some ****.

A parked car driver opened her door right into me passing by on my bike. Flew beautifully over the handlebars. A few bruises and badly functioning right palm.
