Wanted: Board for work, ISO, topre maybe?

As above, looking for a keyboard for work, not sure exactly what I want, open to anything really

Thinking I might need ISO since my combination of ANSI and UK layout means I lose the backslash key, which doesn't matter much at home but may at work.
This could lead to me switching completely back to ISO, so I may have a couple of pokers to sell soon

I've got both a Das Ultimate and Filco with blues and ISO, however if you're looking for something for a work environment then blues won't cut it! Option is there though.

Das was purchased on 23/07/2012, typed on for about 6Months I'd say, keycaps only like 3months though. Not sure on shine, Will check!
Case has been opened to replace a switch once, won't be asking too much for this. I'll check condition when I get home to be 100% sure.

Filco Ninja (Full size) Was purchased on 22/03/2013, UK layout, caps have never been typed on. taken off right after I took it out of the box. Typed on it for about 3months max.

Will give you some pics and stuff when I get home later today/tomorrow.

Was Kinda hard to capture the marks on the Das seeing I only have a iPhone 5, tried my best.

Prices I'm not 100% sure, but seeing the Das is worse than I thought.  I'll let it go for £50 + Shipping, and the Filco for £80 as its basically brand new.

I bought them new for this price, so I think this is more than fair.

No dont need to desolder in order to swap the springs or lubing them.

I bought it new for 86 swiss francs, which is about 90 USD, Im willing to sell it as it is (stock) for 60 USD + shipping.

with me right now I have only about 62 mx blue springs, which is only enough for the alpha keys, dont know if that is how you call them. like 60% size, i hope you understand what I mean. however I can desolder my other mx blues switches if you really want the entire board to be Ergo-clears. furthermore have 62g korean springs coming my way around mid August, so If you want 62g springs then might have to wait a little longer. I have about 65 red stickers leftovers, which I can also do if you want.

Ok that's good, I'll have more of a look tonight for current prices, but I think 90+shipping would be a little high.
I think I'd just buy it with clears, as I don't really want to wait any longer than I have to before receiving it.

Looks like it will be £50-60 for a new board.
Used can be had for a little less, there's a decent looking one with blues for £48 delivered at the moment.

All i think of is with 105 Clear switches that I can harvest from the keyboard, according to 7bit current price would be around 50 pounds. though i have no use for the ISO layout keyboard but I can still use the switches.

Though i want to sell, but it doesnt make sense for you to buy from me..... because I can sell you the board for 30 pounds, but surely shipping costs minimum 15 pounds, plus you still need to get new keycaps.

What do you think?

I was about to buy a board from ebay, but I noticed it said the seller won't accept returns, which doesn't fill me with confidence :/
I also realised how little extra keyboard there is around the keys there is on the dell board I'm currently whereas that one has a fair bit, so will take up quite a bit more room on the desk, which isn't ideal.
I need to wait till tomorrow at least since I want to find out if I could get it posted to work, which would be handy.

If I were to say increase my budget, and also open it to TKL, any boards that jump out at you?
(as you can tell I'm not good with making decisions )

Part of me is tempted to just get a Filco, but I do like that beige look (not that it would go with the rest of the desk setup, black monitor, black mouse, black laptop, stand etc

I still think that G80 series still gives you the best bang for the bucks. (comes with excellent PBT dye sub caps as standard) but feels less-solid because there is no plate.

but with filcos, especially the TKL, would give you the possibilities to mod them along the way ie, programmable controller, cases, new plates etc. (main advantage I give is its plate mounted). cheaper variation would be the CMS rapid one. or PLU.

but if you are considering investing for a really really good board... I suggest the bluebooth "KBTalking Pro v1.1", from kbtalkingusa.com, full size, usb and 10 bluetooth at the same time and fast switching between them. its almost 200 USD including shipping to the UK though.

Fair enough, one of the reasons I suggested a Filco is I know they're decent quality, whilst also remaining a clean looking board, without too much extra space taken up around the keys which is nice.

If I'm looking at spending more I'm also open to a topre board.

I never own a topre, but tried them here and there. They are pretty good actually.

They just launched a new keyboard "Type Heaven", its fullsize, same switch, made in China, therefore a little less-expensive, i think keyboardco.com carry them, i talked to Bruce and he told me about it.

Fair enough, and I know I could spend more money, but since it's only a keyboard for work, I don't necessarily need it to be fantastic just better than the rubber dome I've got at the moment and nice to use
