Question about compatibility of Cherry keycaps with Corsair K65

Hello, new comer here. I'm trying to do some mod with my K65, including changing the keykaps to white PBT ones.

I was able to see some Cherry 3000 and 3800 full 104 keycaps and I really liked the font and the white color so I'm planning to try to switch them onto my K65.

The problem is, there seems to be a difference between the Cherry 3000 and 3800's keycaps. The keycaps are all sold at standard height, and i heard that the only difference between those 2 is the caps-lock keycap.

Since I can only buy the keycaps from a Chinese site (Taobao if any of you know) and one of my friends just happens to be currently in China, so I only have 1 chance to get the keycaps. So wondering which one is the right choice if I want it to by compatible on the Corsair K65.

I'm looking at the KC-104W PBT keycaps, not the rainbow colored one...lol

In the picture it seems to be only the 3800 keycaps, but details of the back of the keycaps are not shown.

The K65 uses non-standard modifier sizes.  So, AFAIK, you won't find a perfectly compatible set anywhere.

Thanks for the reply....guess I'll have to try to find compatible caps and just put them together...

You would have to get some 1.5 control, 1x win menu keys and fulltouch caps lock from other set, which is not very hard to get from other Cherry boards but the font will be different older style. You will be stuck with the stock spacebar as it is an odd size.

yep, the K65 is a really awesome TKL with the cheapest ABS pad printed key caps i've ever had in my hands.
You cannot change them completely because the 6.5 sized spacebar. What a joke from Corsair.
