ahh I was busy comparing enameled cast iron skillets and whiffed it  :'(

It happened because you do not use non-stick pans. If you used non-stick then you would not have been frustrated. Then, you would have entered and most likely the universe would have given you a win.

The Loewy enameled skillet is basically art. God damn, I don't usually get all worked up about cookware but that thing is beautiful.

look at this sexy thing. honestly it's worth it since you'll have it for life.

Waiting for the card saying I have custom charges to end up in my mailbox. And when I say 'waiting' I mean walking over there every 10mins or so to check.

Indeed, MX is nearly always only available after bedtime (2:37AM in this case) to ensure I can't enter, was the same in CV2.  The clackman hates us :'(

yeah it isn't worth it to camp, that's how you wind up wasting 2 straight hours of hitting F5 when it turns out CC was done for the day. Multiple days in a row for a total of about 8 hours of your life spent doing nothing but hitting F5 obsessively in a dark room like a trained chimp while still somehow missing every sale and wanting to kill yourself by shoving a bullet into your ear and hitting it with a ballpeen hammer. Or so I would guess.

This is probably paranoia, but what if CV is actually some sort of psychological test for recruiting perfect candidates for some secret project? Think about it. The way it is set up, and how it trains you in a specific way to see who is the best at a specific type of action. It totally makes sense they would add in bots disguised as GH members as well for comparison to live members. It all makes sense, how aloof CC is, the nature of when CV happens, the structure of the testing. This could be a deep conspiracy that goes far deeper than a simple keyboard enthusiast artisan sale.

If I disappear in the next few days you'll know why. Avenge me!

I wrote a script for CV2 in Linux which pressed F5, took a screenshot and ran it through OCR to check for the presence of the thread title.  Only at that point did I realise that it only worked if the page was focused and if it was focused either I'd be there to see it or I wouldn't be there to see/hear whatever alert it made either.  Was fun but, like most fun things, ultimately pointless.
