I got an email saying "Hey you got dibs, follow the instructions in the 4Grabs thread". Then I *breathed in and out* like the 4Grabs thread told me to. No I didn't get into the 4/20 sale.

I checked the 4Grabs thread and panicked. Breathed in and out when instructed but then realized a ticket was required. Back to panicking.
my email is empty as **** haha

So how does the whole dibs thing work?

Not sure but it seems like a few people who didnt get in for 420 are getting a shot at this with a dibs ticket from CC

I got an email saying "Hey you got dibs, follow the instructions in the 4Grabs thread". Then I *breathed in and out* like the 4Grabs thread told me to. No I didn't get into the 4/20 sale.

Are you saying we're dibs bros, too?!?

No email here but I'm dying to see picks of these earth-themed ones.  I'd always hoped for marbled/swirled Clacks.  I'm a huge fan of JEMs and Universes from Ibanez with the dip paint, I hope these are just as streaky and wild.

I was at work and saw the email from CC I almost slapped my coworker across the face just for being near me when I got it. I'm sure my chances are slim but one more chance at it, chea! :))

This sounds exciting - wonder if all the emails have been sent out already ...

I shall keep breathing anyway.

Thank you CC for spending time providing lovely things to GH when working such long hours! :D
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

i'm unfamiliar with dibs; if it says that you can only have 2 different styled items, should I still list all of the choices from most to least preferred, or just list 2?

I take the quote below as listing in your order of preference, so I put more than two in my list by order of preference.

list the items you would like in order of preference. I will match what I have left to what you want in order.

i interpreted it like you did, just wondering if his 2 max comment meant that we should list the 2 items in the order we want them :o Thanks!

I jumped the gun and submitted without reading about dibs tickets. Such is life.

Same.  Mr. Clack is going to have another useless email from me too.  Minimal sleep and the excitement of another post in the 4grabs are not a good combo.

I think I'm also 0/3  or something like that (I lost track) and havn't ever had a dibs :P Though this sale was at midnight on a work night in the UK and this dibs was at like 5-6am UK time :P so I'm kinda glad I didn't get a ticket as chances are I would have missed it anyway :P
