Been swamped today, so I'm not sure I'll be able to participate if it happens during work hours or on the way home.  So, here's today's paint-o-shop in advance:

Show Image

you make these at work right?

I make most at home.

But not all?

I picture you hunched over your desk, furiously copy-pasting and using the bucket tool to color everything in. Your coworker walks by, so you alt-tab to your Excel sheet and mutter something about interest rates.

After he leaves you get right back to it.

If I'm not swamped I may do one or I may do one during a break, but most of the time I'm driving out to crazy town, working on reports, or managing a case, so I don't have time to make them or camp out threads.

MS Paint.  If I do it on my MacBook, I use sketch.  Since I'm rushing them in spare time, they're not as clean as I usually try to make them.  Brush + lines and then paint bucket makes for ugliness.

Also, I am always down for ideas since I'm not sure I will be able to run the whole CVII without running out of ideas.  Today's was randomly inspired by who knows want and I had fun with it.  Yesterday's was dark, but oddly premonitory.

Hey, it wasn't my fault that Hoff and I were both named as people to enter after to win...

Okay, that one was totally on me.

But don't you blame me for the Clackrifice.  That one totally wasn't me unless Clack says it was totally me.

If he draws on my paint-o-shop today for inspiration, what would today's be?  First person to post three times wins?

Not that I've won any, or actually even managed to get in on a sale yet, but anyone reckon CC might ship these progressively this time instead of waiting until the end and shipping all of them at once?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
