You know I never considered that, it might be a good way to try a different layout! Going to look into this.

Don't bother, qwerty/colemak/dvorak make no sense on phone keyboards. Look into MessagEase, it's actually designed for touch screens.

Swype is the best for speed, worth the $.

If you don't like that then the hackers keyboard is good, as it has a dvorak option (among other languages and colemak).

I use SwiftKey and I swear by it. Free 40 day trial that'll make you actually wanna spend the $4 to buy it half way through or earlier.

I'd like to race somebody who says this. Me with my regular keyboard, and them with their speedy Swype.

It's so nice! And I just looked (and used colemak for the first time) and it's got every damn language you could want, plus every layout for that language!

Yeah I don't plan on breaking any world records.  Swiftkey is just fine with me.

Edit: although I would try out that MessagEase just for ****s and gigs...

I love Swype, but I don't like the speech to text program that comes with it (Dragon, I think) as much as I do Google speech to text. Still an excellent keyboard though.

I'm serious. I put it down with my phone keyboard. All this Swype and other things? I've tried them, and all they serve to do is slow me down. Not speed things up.
