Teensy modding a PS2 Realforce (98S)
« on: Fri, 19 July 2013, 13:09:44 »
Pretty easy to do. Just needed to mod the case a little bit so that everything fits.

Wired up using motherboard pin connectors and wires from the power and hdd LEDs on a PC tower.

Cut away the risers that held the old cable in place.

Hot glue attach the Teensy.

Make room for the new cable.

USB it up.

It looks like your just using the teensy for its mini b plug, and not using the controller. Kind of an expensive usb connector.

It's working as a ps2 to usb converter. Unlike the 87u, the 89S has a ps2 connector.
