Hi
« on: Mon, 22 July 2013, 14:17:07 »
Hello everyone,

found this forum by searching the internet for a new keyboard. Great Forum with a lot of usefull information so far.
Actually thinking about getting my first mechanical keyboard. Till now i use several different non-mechanical Cherry Keyboards at home and a Sun Type 7 at work.

Greetings

I think about buying a KBC Poker 2. I like the small layout and as I only use NetBSD and Linux with mainly console applications and a tiling WM I am not using the function- or arrow-keys that much. Also I am used to both, the ANSI and the ISO layout. As for most european countries the ISO layout is commonly used to easy access special letters. But if you have to code a lot (especially if using LaTeX or Lua) you really don't want to go with an ISO-QWERTZ layout.
