Key Switch Lifespan
« on: Sun, 19 October 2008, 07:22:53 »
I have read many thing purporting to detail the lifespan of keyboards.

For example (some of you may have other information), most ALPS switches I see are rated at 10 or 20 million cycles.

Cherry MX and FTSC are rated to 50 million whilst the ML are rated at 20 million.

Most IBM Model M's are quoted (when I can find info) at about 25 million.

Then I found THIS - rated to 100 MILLION!!! cycles.
(I can see the thumb backspace causing problems until your used to it tho)

Ah, NMB.  They make a lot of great products but are virtually unknown.
