Logitech Illuminated Keyboard Keys Popped Off

I'm actually asking this for my cousin since I use a Filco lol.  :P

His cat jumped on his Logitech Illuminated Keyboard and 2 of the keys popped off.  Number pad 5 and 6.  And the parts that holds the scissor mechanism seems to be broken off.

Now I'm trying to think of any options he can do.  Since it's easy to find mechanical keyboard parts, but for everything else it seems that manufactures rarely carry the parts for anything.

He bought the keyboard 1 year ago refurbished so I doubt the warranty still holds (since most refurbished items have shorter warranty).  Another issue is that since it's a scissor switch, the opening is so compact that it's hard access the inside area even if I get the parts.

Anyone have any ideas?

If it is anything like the Apple Aluminium keyboard, they pretty much cannot be repaired.

The Apple one can't even be disassembled - someone tried and the result was a twisted broken aluminium shell.

With care, you can pop a scissor keycap off and put it back, but if the bits are broken, I don't know.

The only way I can really learn about things is by taking them apart. I have destroyed countless devices in my lifetime!

One day I will buy a scissor switch keyboard specifically to wreck it and understand how it goes together.
