Hello.
Im so happy to have found this forum.
I had started to think I was weird with my recent keyboard lusting :)

Im typing on a microsoft sidewinder X6 which is just fine for games but not so fun for typing on.

Im also learning to touch type and would like a nice mechanical switch board with an audible click.

I am awear of the major players such as the Model M, Das and HHKB.
All of which seem hard to get hold of and expensive.
If it wasn't for the n key roll over issue I read about the das I would have gone for one Im sure.

I have seen this on ebay.

Which looks promising. The seller says its very clicky and an old patent?

Would you lovely people be able to make some recommendations on keyboards for me. Size is not an issue. It has to be UK layout and have a definite audible click.

It's a Ya Sheng style buckling spring keyboard. I think the OEM is Can Technology.

I will review it for sure with lots of pictures!
If they could fix the Das issue I would go for one (save up first)
Its a real shame. I did the test on my Microsoft keyboard and it was fine up to 6 keys and never followed a pattern.
Just not keen on the membrane for typing.

Im tempted to get two of these off of ebay and paint one in black!

I've been tempted to buy that keyboard since it is listed on ebay often in the uk but just haven't justified the cost of buying yet another keyboard
