Is that two Model Ms for a few bucks? (Different auction)
« on: Mon, 26 August 2013, 10:19:58 »
I know there is an auction ending today or tomorrow for two Model Ms.

Here's an auction ending two days from now for a vintage PC with 2 clicky keyboards, allegedly working.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-GAMING-PC-TOWER-P5T30-B4-PENTIUM-200-WINDOWS-95-2-CLICKY-KEYBOARDS-/161094469294?pt=Desktop_PCs&hash=item2581fa86ae

Check with seller whether these are Model Ms; if they are, heck you may as well buy the whole thing. Shipping's only $25! (Seller doesn't seem to know anything, so hey if you are lucky, you'll get two 13940101's for $30 shipped!

...so much purple...

And no, I don't think they're Model Ms, but there are two days left, so you could ask the seller to send pictures of the back of the keyboards.

Those are definitely not Model Ms. The one on top of the tower looks like it could be a Focus with the keyboard cover not attached?

guys, once you have confirmed that these aren't model ms or valuable clickys, let me know and I will lock the thread. No point propagating things that aren't good value

I see windows keys in those, so only unicomp could fit.
Also the keyboard profile is not Model M.
IBM 1391410 / Qume terminal keyboard (teensy 2++)

like this one? may be they are from similar molds. the one in the picuture has both MX black and blue, so it can be considered as a MX blue keyboard

The boards in this auction were both White Alps Focus keyboards. Unfortunately the winning bid in this auction was quite high so I wasn't able to acquire one of these boards.
