This is my work setup. The first pic is what I see every day, including while I'm on the IRC

Made use of a couple of cardboard boxes in the drawer of my parson's desk, in order to achieve the perfect keyboard to mouse to chair ratio. (the setup is also aided by perfectly adjusted wrist rests... I'm very meticulous about the chair I use every day.)

The extra keyboard / mouse is for the 55inch behind my laptop, which I QA (the InFocus Mondopad) among other things.

My hands are actually big enough that I can just reach over and use the six pack with my thumb! This truly is the perfect setup for me, even better than my home situation.

MONDPAD!!! That thing has so many security flaws... Something so close to amazing, but dropping the ball on a few needed enterprise options.

Lol... I have so many things to say to that... In the end, you are absolutely correct. But it sure is a nice Windows PC, and Microsoft Office has pretty good file encryption on its own

Outside of reviewing it's security/design for enterprise use -- I'm all about it. The touch sensitivity on that massive display is really well done.

The review unit we had came preloaded with Angry Birds -- something about playing that on a massive touch screen was rewarding.

Lol, yeah, I was itching for a new keyboard for as long as I had it, but as soon as I got a "better" one, turns out Black ALPS were my favorite all along, so it'll probably be looking awesome there for a long time to come.

Coming from a QcK and a 4HD, the Shiden is by far my favorite mouse pad, my mouse glides so effortlessly. My only issues are that it's not completely liquid resistant and the white color makes it susceptible to staining. Still haven't tried any of their cloth mouse pads yet.

You wont go wrong with that
I've tried many, for me artisan is like top of the range!
been using mine for almost 1/2 a year, not stain what so ever
and so easy to clean

Max Keyboard Nighthawk X8 with Browns and Blue LED. Basically a Ducky with no DIP switches, no reactive mode, and a different case. Hell, I ordered a Ducky, and it was a Max out of the box. Huh.
My current mouse is a CM Storm Xornet, which I got on sale and rebate for $5. It's really comfy, and if I can ever find a Spawn for just a little more, I'm switching to that.
My mousepad is a Razer Vespula, and although it was kinda expensive, I really enjoy it. I don't flip surfaces too much, but I do like a harder mousepad, and the gel wristrest is awesome.

Can't you just get a new receiver?

i emailed logitech and they said they no longer supply parts for it and i refuse to pay ebay prices for it.
EDIT: and on top of the receiver, i'm sure i need new batteries too. Its really not worth it to get it working.

So many G9x users... I'm using one as well. It's actually usable for me after I remapped one of the side buttons to middle click.

Glad to see that I'm not the only one who loves the G9x. I have tried many mice and this is the one that feels the best to me. Not to say that there is nothing better, I'm still experimenting from time to time.

Yep. The scroll wheel is fine, but pressing the wheel sucks. Had to change the +dpi to middle click.

Working. What you see is my iOS chess app running on the iOS simulator on my Mac, side by side with the Xcode IDE that has just launched said simulator for testing the app.
