Enigma and Sigaba Cipher Machines - Keyboards at the USAF Museum

Went to the United States Air Force Museum today and saw some cool keyboard related stuff. Just thought I'd share. There was a little exhibit on the Sigaba and Enigma ciper machines. They were used in World War Two to send encrypted messages. SIGABA was an American encryption machine. Enigma was a German encryption machine.

Not as directly related to keyboarding as we know it but still cool in my opinion. Speaking of seeing keyboards in public...I did see that Menards was using Cherry boards with Clears or Browns...Anyways, pictures:

Totally related to keyboards as we know. Look at that "canonical" staggering on the SIGABA! And the very reason for the staggering is also in plain view: the key levers!

Oh, i was in the Touring Year exhibit in the London Science Museum and they had some enigma machines among other ancient computers.
