Stumbled down the clicky rabbit hole
« on: Thu, 29 August 2013, 02:03:46 »
All I wanted was more photographs of the insane Space Cadet reproduction in Group Buy 4 and after lurking without a login for a few weeks I cracked and got an account.

Having grown up in a house littered with Atari 800XLs and Commodore 64s I've got a strong compulsion for the spherical keycaps floating around here. Unfortunately I wrote most of my code these days on the chiclet keyboards in my macbook and thinkpad since I spend a lot of time on transit between work and school. I've got a Poker II in the mail wondering if that will change!

Nice to meet y'all.

Hey, welcome!  :D

The poker ii looks incredibly nice, one day I will also have to buy one!
Good luck with your choice  :thumb:

I went through 5+ keyboards including a Filco, and now I use a Poker 2 as my main keyboard :)

I doubt it will become my main since I use F-keys for SC2 shortcuts but for a carry around programming keyboard it sounds basically awesome. Need to design something to protect the keys so I don't have to leave it in cardboard all the time.
