I quite like the look of this layout, it's only slightly wider than a Filco Tenkeyless, but has arrow keys and numpad. I'm not sure about the perspex surround around the top row though.

The logo looks really good, but the single space backspace / delete key is a deal breaker for me.

thats a pretty board. I like the layout with just letters and numpad and no arrow cluster.  Why cant we get boards like this in the US?

Gotta say, that thing is hideous but I guess there's a market for gaudy keyboards like that just as plain ones.

I'd prefer it if it were plainer like the Filco but I'd rather have the arrow keys and numpad closer together.

The only flashy part of it is the "jaki" logo, a piece of electical tape over it would take care of it ;)
I like the layout and the trimmed outer edges. Nice to get rid of the arrow cluster.

Actually the only thing about the layout I dont like is that there is no left side windows key. (yea, i use them a lot ;)  Kind of weird of them to leave that out.

So is this a blue cherry board?

Is it avail only in japan?

Plain to me would be a matte black case without the clear surround. I like the trimmed edges too.

I didn't notice the Windows key, that is strange. I didn't think I could live without them but now I feel like they clutter up the bottom row. I've been using CapsLock instead since switching to the Compaq. Occasionally I miss the Appskey.

It looks like it comes with black, brown or blue MX. I don't know if you can get it in Japan. They only mention Taiwanese and Chinese sites:

Is there anything more on the products page than the two little pics (someone please teach me how to use Firefox)?

My one year old wanted to add:

Hey, he already types better than my cats. I just wish he could understand that this keyboard (Topre 86) costs more than a months worth of food. See why I bought the keyboard roof?

Drool and other bodily fluids parents become all to familiar with.
