[ebay] HHKB Pro 2 no reserve
« on: Wed, 04 September 2013, 09:17:48 »
Here is a HHKB Pro 2 with no reserve. Currently at $.99 with 4d 12h remaining at time of this post creation. Might be worth watching - could potentially get a HHKB Pro 2 for cheap.

I'm placing a bid of $600 to make sure I win. I sure hope the seller doesn't extort me into paying that much though.

Don't understand why people doesn't wait till the end of the auctions when they are time based.
I know it's good for the seller but...  :p

Pretty much the reason why I don't know why people post these ebay auctions as "great deals" because the majority of these don't end up being such.

It's because people here have a habit of blowing as much money as they can to 'fit in'.

Or then the mentality of; 'Nevermind a good deal, just make sure I win this'

you just bought a metal realforce case... i wouldn't go around saying people spend money just to fit in. sometimes they have poor taste outside of external pressures.

I bought it because I like it. Not because I need to fit in. Mostly people immediately maxing auctions are new people that don't have much of a clue.

That's a good price!

So, terran5992, were you successful?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I bid on it but everytime I did was outbid so either someone is shill bidding or someone put in a really high max bid.
