Shipping to the UK for a single keyboard from Elitekeyboards is $50, and you'll probably pay VAT + some sort of import duty.

Myself, and others had keyboards shipped over from EK in the days before European distributors popped up, so it can be done :)

You can proxy it from amazon japan too, it might save you some money in the total cost.

Your best bet is to find a second hand one in Europe or the US.

Be careful when shipping from the US. If you ship within EU countries there is no extra taxes. When you ship from the US it is likely that you will be charged taxes (even after paying US VAT) and an extra customs charge.

You are better off buying it through someone willing to buy it for you here on the forum, or buying it second hand in classifieds, then have it sent with a customs form specifying it as a gift. Usually I would not think this kind of "tax evasion" is a good thing. But were are talking about a product here that you can pretty much not buy without importing.

Yeah man, i had the same issue with my CASE LABS S3, they are a US only company and so had to import it, a heft $100 import tax did hurt quite a bit,

Idealy i would love to buy new and i can ask friends in the US if they would do that option, thanks for the heads up!
