noppo choc mini question!
« on: Sat, 05 October 2013, 03:08:26 »
Hello!  I had just recently purchased a noppoo choc mini off of amazon and I have some questions that I hope you guys can answer for me.  I tried searching for the answer but don't know where to start as I keep coming on up empty.  This isn't my first noppo, but after getting it I noticed some differences.

1.  The printing on the caps are cleaner compared to my other one which seemed like they were slightly faded with inconsistent printing in terms of font thickness.

2. The biggest difference, is that the lights that usually indicate if caps lock, num lock, and scroll lock are now under, and to the left of the button respectively. (the cap and ctrl command button has been moved) The key caps themselves no longer has the see through portion, they're solid keys.

3. There are extra options such as those you would see on other keyboards with full shortcut access, this includes: computer, calc, home, email, etc.

I've seen the white 2013 version but that seemed to be normal.  So if my keyboard some weird defect? lol

Thanks!

Lettering is usually lasered and then filled with paint on choc mini, at least the black one. However, it may have changed with the new generation.
