Compaq MX 11800 (Uk eBay) MX browns? £26.50 inc postage

I see a few people speak very highly of these, and here's a UK one for a fairly reasonable price if anyone is interested. The guy lists it as an 81100 but the other numbers seem to tie in as a 11800 (185152-036) If it is a proper MX11800 I believe it is MX browns. You could always ask the seller for a confirmation switch photo to be sure (and providing noone else buys it in the meantime)

Just snatched it up; couldn't resist the opportunity at trying out a mx brown board for so cheap, especially such an interesting one. (Providing it does actually have mx browns, but I am willing to take that risk.)

After half a year of lurking around geekhack I now own a Filco Majestouch 2 with mx blues, Ducky YOTS with mx blues and this Compaq MX11800.... I really did not think it would come to this.

The worest part is I am looking at getting a HHKB Pro 2 from a friend who might beable to pick me one up in china at a reasonable price... I reaaaallllyy want to try a topre and my heart is set on the hhkb as opposed to the realforce.

The mx 11800 are a pleasure to type on. Please report back your mx 11800 experience compared to the two mx blue KBs.

11800 only were made in browns, same goes for 1838 the other Compaq branded G80.
