I don't wanna threadcrap, but it's **** like bidding on F2s for $100+ that destroys the market. I mean, good for you hazleluff for gettin' that but when desperation is heavy in the air and new members are abound it sets a horrible benchmark for the future of the clack economy.

Clacks in general are overpriced and there are more than a few people taking advantage of the new people with money who don't know better.

It's not taking advantage. They pay what they want to pay. Hazelhuff isn't forcing them.

And there is more than enough information around here to guide people as to what these are worth.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

a fool and his money
glws

They say: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, but that assumes an even playing field. If I'm smarter than someone else there are certain things I can do unto them that they can't do back...

Basically I see alot of unintelligent and ignorant people in this world and what I want to know is it immoral to take advantage of them and make money off of their stupidity. After all these type of people have a negative effect on the world through voting for politicians with dumb policies such as the banning of teaching of evolution in schools etc.

Now I have a strong interest in charlatans and I try to expose them wherever I can. I see that they can make alot of money, for example selling a $2 pill holder for $199 – $1999 and claiming it can reduce the onset of aging, help fertility, help protect against the supernatural etc. And people will actually buy the product, believe it works and will deny evidence to the contrary.

I know intelligent people should probably protect these people and try to stop them wasting their money on such crap but why? It is their own fault for not researching these things and seeing that there is no evidence for such claims, and it is their fault for not studying critical thinking and other life skills. We are not forcing them to buy it, and in the modern world people get ripped off all the time, for example Sony selling you a $1 cable for $50. Maybe this is just the new form of survival of the fittest. Instead of getting killed, you will just get taken advantage of in a financial sense.

I believe we only live once, and so if I can make money from dumb people and use it to live my dreams, e.g. travel the world etc. then why shouldn’t I?

If I had the viewpoint of defending these people from Charlatans then I would get no rewards from it, and half the time these people won’t even believe what you have to say so it’s just a waste of time.

What are your opinions? I think my viewpoints have changed and instead of thinking taking advantage of dumb people as immoral and irresponsible, I now have less of an issue with it as these people are only getting what they deserve.

This is an auction. Is it that hard for people to understand that people will pay what they want for something like this? Nobody is forcing them, they don't have to partake should they not want to.

Now back to the damn bidding please. If I was Hazeluff, I'd think about shortening the auction if he's going to get this for a month. :D

Last time I checked avJab was leading on all of them by $5. Nice!

I updated the auction to end on Oct. 19th, as people seem to think it's long. Happy Clacking.

If you really want one, just lurk round the official sales from CC or EK. You'll find one eventually. It's how I got my clacks.

The amount of "I" in your post means it's your ****ing opinion, get the **** out.

And I would like to remove my bid. Thanks.

Heh I'd get that for my daughter, but I've exceeded by bidding threshold.

So ixmike withdrew his bids on f2's.

I'm glad people are realizing clacks are expensive. At the same time, please don't bid unless you commit. I'm pretty sure auctions don't work that way.

rofl thanks for making my point for me along with all the others who see a TLDR and just assume it's a TC without actually reading and trying to comprehend what was said
yep, it's my opinion, I never made any claim to the contrary, I even emphasized that fact (once again did you actually read what I said?)

at least I stick by my word and don't flip flop bid  :-*

Just drop a bid in Zenuty, the no-sniping rule means that this can go on indefinitely as long as people are still bidding on the last day.

9 more days to go and that green skull has gone $200.... LOL add another $100 and you can have yourself light saver Korean board + switches + stabs. I love GH community logic, makes me giggle in a nasty way.

No.

Doesn't matter as you can't snipe. If you want it, you're just gonna have to put a bid.
