GON Skinny housing

Theres something alluring about this housing for my Poker II. Haven't really seen anyone talking about it. Its pretty damn simple, PCB exposed on the bottom, maybe a little over priced. Opinions?

Thanks saw that...no talk since June though. I just...I just cant tell if I like it or hate it. Would you use it?

I think it's petty intriguing as well.  If it's just going to sit on your desk, I don't see a problem with exposing the PCB (unless you have very high humidity...)  Just not sure how secure it's going to be in terms of not sliding around.  Might need to put it onto something like a rubber mat.  That would also help with sound dampening.

I think there is a market for these style of cases.  A lot of the people I've tried to convert have typically been turned off of the average mechanical keyboard height.

I was thinking the same thing about it moving around too. Otherwise I like it. If it were a little cheaper I think I'd just buy it.

i like the concept, but the 'crimping' on the edges looks really cheap and basic.

does anyone have height comparison shots to a stock poker 2?

The_Beast's was laser cut, not machined, so, supposedly, it would be of "lower" quality, though I'm unconvinced that that's the truth as long as he uses good quality aluminum or steel.  Of course, to compete it would have to come in under $50 raw and probably closer to $30-40.
