Help with noppoo chic mini
« on: Wed, 23 October 2013, 20:56:11 »
Hello, I just got this keyboard today and am loving. However I cant for the life of me figure out how to switch the caps lock/ctrl keys. On the other versions of the keyboard you use fn + Switch lock however This version the delete keys function ability says insert. Any one have any idea how to do it?

Edit: Fn + F9 switchs caps lock and ctrl :)

interesting, some people in another thread were trying to figure out what fn + F12 did(because that used to be insert on the old choc mini), maybe its the caps/ctrl switch. try that and let us know if thats it.

Using Fn + f12 opens up a windows app that checks for drivers. If you use it again it resets the keyboard. So that is not it. I am wondering if they might have removed the feature however the keys still have cap and ctrl on them and it was a major selling point of the keyboard.

Update: So after playing around with the keyboard i got the caps and ctrl keys to switch. I think its something with the Fn key and hit the control and cap keys but I cant figure out how to get it to go back to cap key being cap...

Easy. Press Switch Lock on the top right to switch between Cap and Ctrl.

Excellent, with POM keycaps on black case or PBT on white case. NKRO through USB by tricking Windows to believe that there is 3 keyboards attached at the same time, so 6KRO x 3 = 18KRO.

I think it switches the ctrl and cap locks if you press Fn and F9.
Blue switches are my favorite... I've only tried blue switches...
