[ebay / BIN / MO] Olivetti ANK 25-101 keyboard

I have no idea if this is a great find or not.

It seems a tad expensive - especially for a rubber dome; but I've never ever seen one before that was ANSI.  Also any "best rubberdome?" thread on GH or Deskthority has at least a few people that chime in and say that Olivetti's were wonderful rubberdomes.

Nonetheless, I had to share.

I got one of these NIB from france. They are very nice for rubberdomes, and the orange LED's are nice too. Mine has PS/2 instead of whatever serial connector this uses. The tenkey is stepped properly instead of sculpted at the same profile as the alphanumerics.

The last picture looks like a hard drive to me.

Anyway, unless you really need an ANSI version of this, importing one from France will be a much cheaper prospect than buying the one listed: the price seems a little high to me as well.

This has dual connectors.  Even though there are no photos of a ps/2 cable the listing assures that there is one (unless the seller is confused.)

I would really love to try an ANSI version of this but they are extremely rare - this is the first sample I've seen in four years.

Rubber domes do not scare me - but ISO does :)

You got yours from France more cheaply than buying in the US? Wow

Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.
