WTB - WASD Code 104-key Cherry MX Clear
« on: Tue, 05 November 2013, 11:18:30 »
Want to buy this..

http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/index.php/code-104-key-mechanical-keyboard.html

I know they had some for sale a week or so ago but I missed it.

Edit, nevermind, bought a TKL from QTAN.
Good luck to all paying 100% mark up on the code.

Found another and put in a bid, but if someone has one here let me know, if not I'll just wait for another release, tired of all the mark ups.

lol they are pricing them like Model M's..... how can you resell something with more than double the price, when the same product will be available soon....

Well to be fair, WASD has come out to say that CODE with Clears will be 12-14 months. That extra bit of money vs. a year of waiting is definitely worth it to some people. I know I've considered it so far.

well if you consider this then... ok then  http://www.ebay.com/itm/WASD-Code-Tenkeyless-MX-Clear-White-LED-/321242915332?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item4acb91e204#ht_63wt_1399

How about KMAC2 or LZ GH for the same money or lil bit more, I mean at price range of $375 your better off to pay lil bit more and get ur self Korean TKL aluminum board, my 0.2

Well, lol, not that one. I noticed the one for $175 or whatever it was, which is a lot more reasonable. If I was ever going to spend $200+ on a keyboard, it'd be for something really rare, custom, and awesome looking. I don't imagine that's going to happen any time soon, but we will see.

I have a bid in on the other if it doesn't get snipped. Will find out in a week, gd eBay.
Only looking for full sized. And no full sized Korean board unless another trik group sale pops up.

WASD V2 is great board, I for example Am looking into the barebones but waiting to get some green MX on it, might be well worth the wait. From my personal perspective the CODE is great at the website price point, but once when you start entering the $200 price range, maybe just maybe is better to look into GON's boards? and if your full board lover GON said that he will have full boards sometime towards the end of the year. Might be well worth waiting for the full board from him.

For me either is waiting on GON's full board or WASD MX greens barebones, kind of on the edge on this one :(

Thanks for the tip on GONs boards. I'll be down for a full sized board for sure.

But I'd really REALLY like to try a clear, so I know what switch to order when I do the big boy board.

I've tried blue/black/red/green, tried as in lived with for a couple weeks. I'm torn between the blue and the green but it sounds like clear may be the one to go for. I'd like to live with one for a while before taking the plunge on a $400+ board.

I'll probably bump my max bid up on eBay but I'm sure some nut will go big at the end.

This seems to be the only other option http://www.banggood.com/KEYCOOL-108-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard-Cherry-MX-White-Switch-p-82971.html

Or coolermaster eventually.

Or this but meh, it would be buy and try then resale used.

Be patient. Don't spoil the market with outrageous buys. Remember, a seller can always ask for a ridiculous price but buyer can always walk away from that ridiculous price.

$375 for a TKL is profiteering and anyone here dumb enough to pay $375 deserves what he got.

BTW clear switches have been pretty cheap lately. Hint: make your own if you really can't find it at retail.

Found another and put in a bid, but if someone has one here let me know, if not I'll just wait for another release, tired of all the mark ups.

Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.

No I didn't bid on that, was having an issue searching WASD keyboard and not CODE keyboard and that's what I thought the poster above was talking about.

Plus full sized only if I'm going to keep it any length of time.

yea, so I guess it wasn't truly a snip because I wasn't willing to pay that much.
