Although I believe the issue is a complicated one, I do think that auctions such as this one are part of the problem, not the solution. Blatantly transparent profiteering serves to enrich the profiteer, and perpetuates feelings of jealousy and resentment.

All subjective, but hardly think that this post is a solution to anything other than stirring bad feelings amongst the community. See it as a gentleman without means, auction did start at $1 and displayed an otherwise private reserve price in attempts to show that I do not seek to gain inordinate amounts of cash.... Alas, if I do, so be it.

This man put into words what everybody else has been so fustrated about with these auctions. The people that actually want to keep them dont get squat, while the ones that want them simply to profit from and jack up the prices are doing so in larger numbers than you would see otherwise from a 4grabs thread. Classifieds is turning into something I really hate seeing. Every other thread is another 200 dollar CC.

A bit harsh, I really have no control over random chance. Most CCs I've gotten are those I've bought from other members from $60-120, and I really don't regret it. These past threads, I was just unloading my personal collection to get out from underneath the hobby. No harm from a personal decision. It's not that I can't buy an item for the price a good meal and couple cups of coffee... It's that I shouldn't. I really do enjoy the keyboarding hobby, but just don't want to spend copious amounts of cash ATM.

Truly, I didn't even enter for any of the CCs but the Topre and MX flavors of the drunken skull and this one. So I'm just loving all this blind hate.... It's really nothing but dumb luck people. There is no mastermind plan.
