Some people just hate the profiteering the happens with Clacks.  It's why I refuse to pay the exorbitant prices people charge for them and why I sold my Hack Orange at $30.  People need to try and keep the profiteering in check and get the CCs to people who will appreciate them, not people who treat them as pure profit.

And that one is shady in large part because they were selling a Night Owl for a ton and claiming that they were getting private bids for it at $205-210.

Not at all.  I'm saying that what you did is a very generous thing and I'd love to see more people sell them at cost, give them away, or give them to people on indefinite loan.  It's why I said that it's nice to see you doing that.  I just called it like it is, like museums do with pieces.  When they get something, they specify if the museum owns it, if it was donated to them and by whom, and if it's on loan to them and who it is loaning it to them.

lol, sure. Except that I only did it because I don't really use MX and they're just sitting in a box. And if I didn't love them as much as I did, I'd just give them away altogether instead of loaning them to people. And I only brought it up to prove a point, and I don't care if anyone acknowledges me for doing anything.

Considering the other things he's given away for free or sold at less than what he paid for it(easily found throughout his post history, but an easy example would be the big kit he gave up in the Glissant auction), does your question feel a bit more ignorant now?
