head phone interference question
« on: Wed, 13 November 2013, 03:25:06 »
When I get bored in the late evening/early morning I often plug my cheap noname headphones into the computer and play a jam track then jam along on bass (accoustically). In doing this ive noticed I can hear the bass through the headphones when the cord is near/touching the strings/pickups.

So I got to wondering if that was caused by mechanical vibrations being carried up the cord, or if it was electronic interference from the unshielded cables.

It doesnt matter, but im  curious. What do you guys think?
