Personal Opinion on 60g vs 62g vs 65g vs 67g Clears
« on: Wed, 13 November 2013, 21:24:31 »
I'm looking to do an ergo clear mod sometime in the future and was wondering if anyone had opinions on 62g springs from originative vs 60g springs from light cherry switches. Is the difference noticeable or negligible? How do those compare to a 65g or 67g switch.

 Thanks in advance!

You're completely right, Spamray.

Here's the thread I found that pretty much answers this: http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=44100.0

Stock Clears or die

people say that they feel the bump is highlighted when using a lighter spring, but I really didn't feel it..

plus I love the weight of the stock spring, so it works out great for me

Use the 62g springs from originative...start trying em out

My thoughts can be found here. There's also a ton of ergo-clear threads kicking around, like ray was saying.

I read through both threads. That's exactly what I needed. I'm going to just buy 62g and 65g switches to be safe. Thanks a bunch. :)
