Still better than Vortex at least.  And a decent material too, not just crappy ABS (if they keep with tradition).

Legend - "The last keyboard you will ever need"
Uhhh I will feel bad buying another Deck, since I already own two. Oh well, I guess I can still buy more even if I don't need them.

No clears :-( I really like my Legend with Clears.

I'll fall back on browns then.

Vortex is thick PBT DS, thicker than this if I remember correctly. Let us agree to disagree on the fonts.

Is it really? Vortex has a not-great italics font with a weird function row. Throw it on a 60% and it's passable. Deck appears to use something like Papyrus, the Comic Sans of ****ty fonts.

I suspect Deck loves their font so much because they spent $1 to purchase the copyright to that font. It's so ugly; no one will want to license it. I suspect most Deck buyers will happily pay 5-10% more (on a keyboard that is already $200) just not to have that font.

Will you also be selling through you site directly? Will Amazon be fulfilling orders, or merely acting as a portal?

Thanks

The only thing that seemed to differentiate Deck from most was the option of clears. With such a shortage, and no clears for these boards, the legends really hurt any chances at success I would think. Only reason I ever considered a Deck personally was for clears; just could never get over the look of the board.

Wish you luck with your launch though!

Yea...if I was 13 I'd love it. The minimalist in me isn't super interested. It seems like a pretty outstanding accomplishment to have doubleshot PBT for backlights, though.

I'm just sad because while DS thick PBT is great, I won't be using them because I like blank keycaps. So I'll never be able to appreciate the new technology.  :-X
