Novice enthusiast checking in!

Hi All, American expat in Australia here. I'm just getting into mechanical keyboards now, and I just found this place (and Deskthority and r/mechanicalkeyboards), and it looks like this is a cool, friendly, and helpful community!

I just bought a SteelSeries 7G but poking around here already has me wanting to buy a second keyboard with a standard ANSI/ISO layout to make full customization a little easier (the 7G has a big return key and, apparently, a nonstandard space bar).

Welcome, welcome to WalletHack.
Hopefully you'll have a chance to try out a tactile or clicky board, with Blues or Browns, in the QFR or another board.
Hope you enjoy your stay!

Thanks, Linkbane, I think I will. :)

After looking around at keycaps sites (and the group orders here), I'm thinking of dropping some money on a tenkeyless ANSI-layout board with Cherry browns and no backlighting. Any recommendations besides the QFR boards with these specs?
