Show your THICK PBT!
« on: Wed, 20 November 2013, 21:23:24 »
I'm super interested in what colors and variations exist out there for the THICK PBT caps. I'd love to see some pictures of what you guys have, or maybe just a post of what colors you're aware of.

Actually, yes - I did. The only thing I could find was what I already knew. I wanted to see what some other colors and variations were.

Well most likely what you saw is what there is. Mass quantities of keycaps costs a lot, esp thick PBT, so there is few to see

Yea, so it seems. That's disappointing. I thought someone might know of a source I couldn't find. I'm surprised there isn't more demand for thick PBT in the sense that there would be more options.

I should have added that I'm looking for cherry profile. I found these, but I'm pretty sure they're OEM http://www.vendio.com/stores/E-sports-Gaming-equipments/item/pbt-key-caps/37-pbt-color-side-printed-key-/lid=37058179

They might be Cherry Profile. He mentioned that the keycaps are a different profile

I dont think so, not on blues anyways. They most definitely change the feeling of the keys, but I do not believe they "ruin" the feeling. I guess it also could matter if you bottom out your keys hard or not. The made the "clack" at little quieter, atleast my wife thinks so anyways

I really enjoy the clack of bottoming out . And the oring makes bottoming out feel squishy
