the only lesson I get from this is I should set my priorities straight in life....

stayed up until 5AM and overslept afterwards!! got rekted by manager for reaching 10:30 and conveniently meeting him in the lift.. :-[
well, I slept early and woke up by the alarm at 4.40am, even then by afternoon of the same day, I couldn't keep my eyes opened and had to drown many cups of coffee and kept on thinking why? why why?  :p

If you're feeling sad because you're name wasn't drawn as a winner, consider that at least you were in the draw.

Some of us missed it completely ...

At least if you miss it completely you don't have to worry if you're getting an invoice or not :(

I'd probably have a heart attack if I got an invoice!

Or some sort of attack, anyway.

Is it weird that I've been sitting here clicking f5 all day?

On your browser?  Yes, because the sale is over, and was email anyway.

On your email client?  No.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Well, one way is you take some sculpting material and make the sculpt. Then you make the mold from that sculpt, use the mold to make a production sample, and take pictures of it.

the texture on the back seems fairly realistic, i can only assume bro must've harmed some frogs in the making of this mold. peta has been notified~

Hey everyone, pardon the intrusion I just wanted to give you a glance at a keycap I just finished, one of Bro's superb Jolly Rogers. Its been my ambition to paint one of his awesome designs for ages now and its been great to finally fulfill that wish. Hopefully the end product does his sculpture justice.  :)

Very impressive. It's missing a golden tooth though ;)

Hey Guys I ventured into what I thought was a good trade. I owned star cluster before but i resold it and I wanted to try get one via trade! got this and I dont know, I remember the previous one being less glittery? Could someone let me know if they think this is authentic ? Thanks!

Looks real to me. Wouldn't hurt to PM Bro though.

Could be fake. Did you get one of those authenticity cards?

I don't think the Cosmos came with Bro ID cards.

Doesn't have the Tru Bro ID but the marks on the stem lead me to believe it's real.

I think there's some variation within each design. My star cluster isn't quite as glittery as that, but I used to have a spirit of freedom reaper that had much less red in the face than some of the others.

Do all BBv2's come with Tru Bro ID's? Or are those fairly recent? Just curious.

I entered the last sale and didn't win anything.

But I was lucky enough to get first dibs on a BBv2 on mechmarket. It was quite the rush. I kept on refreshing the new threads on MechMarket with no clear purpose, and when it finally happened, I was just in awe and disbelief.

I get that it might be a different feeling of winning a cap in a sale, but getting dibs on a cap you really want is a great feeling too.  :)

Only re-issues do, which are fairly recent. Most don't, only the super nice and new colors from ebay or the last sale.

Well done on getting your first ^-^

The Tru ID's are a recent addition, most BBV2 will not include them, you can always check to see if it is indeed a real Brobot via Brocaps or use the Brocaps thread which shows all colourways ever made.

I see. This Obfuscated Orange seems to be from way back then! I posted it on the BroCaps Gallery and the post your BroCaps threads.

Thanks! There's really something about the BBv2 design that hits home with me. So glad I popped my BroCaps cherry with this cap. Ha!

I checked the barebones BroCaps BBv2 catalog. I'm glad I checked it out there. It's a really drool-worthy resource.  :p

It's weird. I like to "pet" my BBv2 sometimes. It's on ESC, so I press it every now and then, but there's something about feeling it up against your finger. /NSFW
