http://www.razordogaudio.com/collections/frontpage/products/hifiman-he-400-planar-driver-over-the-ear-headphone $300 with promo code RAZERDOG100

They're practically giving them away at this price.

Promo code appears to be dead :(

edit: correct code is "RAZORDOG100", and hifiman products are not eligible, per the terms:

"2. The instant rebate offer seems too good to be true! What’s the catch?
At RazorDog! Audio our goal is to give you the lowest prices. So there’s no catch, other than HifiMAN products are not eligible as well as the Sennheiser HD 600($100), HD 700, HD 800 and HDVD 800.  Please contact us if you have questions about your order. NOTE: The instant rebate ONLY applies to orders placed on razordogaudio.com. eBay orders are not eligible. Cannot be combined with any other discount code or promo."

Hm...Yeah I'm aware that that code doesn't work. I just thought that they allowed the Hifiman discount for their sale. Says on their Facebook that the HE-400 is $300 now through Cyber Monday....maybe the price isn't updated yet? Not sure.

Please keep your opinions somewhere else.  This may turn into a great deal for someone interested in entry orthos and not a debate about your feelings.

Everyone is entitled to post their opinions.  It is very rude of you to tell me I can't, especially considering how you have no authority to do so.

I've spent many years discussing headphones on other forums and wanted to point out another option at this price point to help people with their choice.  I didn't want to turn it into a headphone debate, so I didn't go into any details comparing the two.  There is a recent post on here, I don't remember where it is exactly, where a GeekHack member compared the two and decided in favor of the HD600.  Also, every review I've seen compares the comfort of the HE-400 to wearing a brick on your head due to the weight.  Opinions help people make informed decisions.

This is no place for you if you can't handle opinions you may not agree with.  I suggest you make your own forum to rule over.

You can compare between the two here: http://www.head-fi.org/t/634201/battle-of-the-flagships-58-headphones-compared-update-audeze-lcd-2-revision-2-6-4-13#user_HD600

The weight/comfort is really not that bad compared to other high end headphones, I don't think that's the issue. It comes down to the signature that the buyer is looking for, since the HD600 and HE-400 are very different.

Thanks for posting this.  I always direct people to this article.  Every headphone review there of the headphones I've listened to is spot on with what I've experienced which is pretty impressive since I had a majority of the headphones at the same time and could do a direct A-B comparison.

Everyone's head is different, just as everyone's listening preferences are different. This does seem to be a good deal, though not for me (As I just upgraded my amp).

Thanks for posting all these good deals.

Apparently this pricing only begins on Black Friday, sorry about the really early notice, wasn't aware that the sale wasn't on yet.
