i'm stunned.

I'm not.

Although that's quite a way to go, I'd be ok with going out in a burning hypercar.

Any accident causing death is very sad. I thought he was younger though.

But the news guys can't resist... Since he was in Fast and Furious, they had to find burned rubber marks near by.
If they don't know, why don't they just shut up? In big cities, those are pretty much everywhere.

/*
"I don't know if the marks in the road are related to the crash," said Los Angeles County sheriff's Sgt. Brian Allen.

Think of Batman or The Crow. They'll figure something honorable for the man and the character he was playing.

What I meant by the reference was about Heath Ledger and Brandon Lee.

I don't know, man. They're both just two guys that we don't know, and If you're going to consider the deaths tragic you'll have no time to do anything else, because you'll have to think almost every death is tragic then. Let the families and relatives give a ****, we shouldn't, because they're insignificant to us.

Basically. No-one here actually care that Paul Walker is dead (maybe the odd Fast and Furious franchise fan does), and the other guy even less so, but he was a semi-recognisable public figure so it's normal to mention it.

He was apparently a really stand-up nice guy who did a lot of charity pro bono in his free time. Never knew the man or loved the F&F movies, so it's whatever, but it sucks that someone else killed him. If he were driving it likely would've not happened. Plus he just finished filming F&F 7, so there's that top look forward to.

Why shouldn't we care? Because in our LIVES he's nobody, and I suggest people and their emotional feelings for somebody you haven't met in any way should go away. If he donated to charity - he's done it, it doesn't go away if he dies. If he was going to donate more, too bad, let the affected starving kids in Africa or whatever care, we shouldn't, with out iPhones and computers. If he was a good guy to work with, let the people he worked with care, why should we care? He never did anything useful for us. He never finished your ****ing essays or gave you money for taxes or stuff. He was a rich white guy that happened to be placed in fast cars that were recorded and had explosions that were probably digitally imposed afterwards, and suddenly all of that became real with a lot less of what made it cool.

And that is why I suggest people shouldn't care. If I die tomorrow, what would you think? I suppose not a whole lot, so then why should people care more about this other stranger? Because he was basically your ****ing court jester?

There is no reason for all of the people that sat in a chair or a sofa and watched pretty pictures, occasionally grunting at speshul scenes while shovelling **** in your mouth, to care about this man's death.

And one for the douchebag pile.  Boo ****ing hoo.

Just because you're a small, ignorant, unimportant man that even family won't remember doesn't make you the sterling model of humanity.  Considering your post count and its content of mean, ignorant or plain stupid commentary, I'm confused as to why you joined in the first place.  Is it just to be that guy that has to be the douchenozzle because it's the internet and someone has to?  Is your own life so empty you have to denigrate and degrade everyone around you?

You asked what people would think if you died tomorrow and I, for one, would be happy.  Happy to not have your toxic idiocy taint my day.  Other people wouldn't give a **** because you leave literally zero mark anywhere. (See: small, ignorant and unimportant)

TIL being able to provide an escape from the modern grind isn't anything.

I care because my good friend who I've been close with since I was 5 years old was Paul's closest friend.  In the course of less than 2 years, my friends lost his dad and now his best friend.  Paul affected my friends life in so many positive ways, and my friend wouldnt be where he is today without Paul.  The internet is a big place, your lack of compassion and arrogance are offensive to friends and family and im glad that my friend isnt a keyboard geek so he doesnt have to be exposed to your lack of humanity.

Oh man, I can just imagine how amazing he would be to know in person. Deepest sympathies.

if you don't care, you move along. if you post a lot of words, you do care.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Well I care.  I'm a big fan of those F&F movies, so I'm sad.

I also care about the 4 people who died in the Metro North Train Derailment that happened this morning in Bronx, NY.  The NY Post is calling it a "bloodbath".  And it looks like the derailment was caused by the motorman speeding around a curve.  Our Mayor should be commended on his administration of the trains.  Way to go Bloomie, great job.

Well, I hate the F&F series, but I still care. The world has lost someone who was actually doing something to make it a better place. RIP, Paul.

You say no one cares here?
I said nobody should care.

why's that? you're the authority of what people should and shouldn't care about now?

like i said, it's THAT guy. there is always one.

****, i hope you're like 12 or something because you try WAY too hard.

but with that said, people are different. some mourn the lost of celebs, some don't. and you aren't anybody to tell people what they should care about.

and to answer your question, yeah i wouldn't give a ****. but i find you annoying so maybe that's why.

Good to see you have noting to say on the actual topic and instead keep judging people with predictable cop-outs and a few narrow minded arguments. I don' think the "priority" or "authority" it seems you think I think I have is exclusive to me, it's something I think everyone has. Or should have. I never said I'm the whiteknight and saviour of how people should feel and think, but provided arguments against something I saw as unnecessary. If you think the way I express myself is asinine and/or stupid, live happily ever after with your hatred of a random guy on the internet and lack of substantial contribution to a topic.

Listen, nobody here wants to hate you. We really don't. But you make it so easy it's kinda hard not to...

Back on topic, Paul Walker...

Never really followed the Fast & Furious movies, but judging by the fact that he died in a car crash, I'd say it's how he'd have wanted to go.  Still a shame though...

I want for you to stay on topic sometimes and PM me (although it's hard for you to guess I assume it's a logical course of action) if you have any problems with me. Actually it'd be nice if everyone did that. And I have repeated several times in most of my posts here that people close to him should be affected, let them mourn and grieve and care all they want.

Since it's called simply "R.I.P. Paul Walker" means that the range of what can be considered on topic is pretty wide, but arguments between two people about stuff not related to Paul Walker being dead, or death itself isn't on topic.

If a thread is called "Discuss" and people start discussing, saying "The thread wasn't called Discuss ClickClacks, you morons" isn't valid, nor on the topic of discussion. What I posted seems to be within the purpose of this thread because the thread name is not very specific, but mentions someone being dead.
