Oh right, it's not. It's a thread about a dude being dead and people mourn him, posting about it seems pretty on topic, right?

Show Image

I mean, you know, except for the fact the thread isn't called "How do you feel about Paul Walker dying and people mourning him".

But it's not and you're not.
Since it's called simply "R.I.P. Paul Walker" means that the range of what can be considered on topic is pretty wide, but arguments between two people about stuff not related to Paul Walker being dead, or death itself isn't on topic.

If a thread is called "Discuss" and people start discussing, saying "The thread wasn't called Discuss ClickClacks, you morons" isn't valid, nor on the topic of discussion. What I posted seems to be within the purpose of this thread because the thread name is not very specific, but mentions someone being dead.

Basically |-onions-|                   *INSERT STUFF ABOUT ONIONS*                       |-onions-| That space is labelled onions and nothing more.

Seriously, what the **** are you even discussing anymore?

i thot i wus discussin why me stuff is on topic

No, seriously. I started talking about how I felt about people caring about a stranger's death, people got upset and they've dug so far into it that it's become annoying for me, even. I wanted to leave it after the discussion with demik, which I think had a good enough conclusion. But then people HAD to keep arguing against and digging into my onions (but obviously not before crashing the train), and I naturally respond, which lead me to what I am discussing right now: Why what I posted was on topic.

You're the one who decided to determine what was and wasn't on topic. People tried to dispel your on topic argument, and they are the ones who went off topic?

He's also the one to determine who can and can't mourn someone, too.

When I ****ing post something about the dead ****ing guy and **** in a thread about the dead guy, it's on topic, and when people beg to differ ON THE TOPIC OF THE DEAD GUY and opinions and stuff ABOUT THE DEAD GUY, it's fine. But when people start talking about ME (A guy that isn't American and doesn't drive fast cars) in a thread about someone else (A guy that drove fast cars and was American), I think I can say they're off topic.
And for tjcaustin... Have this empty space ->

"Listen, nobody here wants to hate you. We really don't. But you make it so easy it's kinda hard not to..."

Quote of the day.

Seriously guys... Peace!

Lets create a life and death thread where we can continue our pointless arguments.
But leave this one for those who care about the death of Mr PW.

And here you are talking about how what you say is the gilded standard of things again.  It's ok to tell people that it's wrong to mourn, but not ok to tell you what you said isn't right in your head?  I need to know, are you actually a retarded person?

The craziest part about this is for me that it occurred just a few miles from my place.  It's very sad indeed.
