I was thinking about purchasing a Penumbra keyset, but I'm not really sure if the SA profile would be a good fit with the switches I have.

Has anyone tried SA profile keycaps with clears or ergo-clears?

They are really high profile compared to DCS. I would guess that there would be a little wobble

If the keycaps wobble a bit when its on a low profile. Its gonna be amplified on higher keycaps

I'm not sure I follow your logic on this?

I tried round 4 SPH on my brown switch and while it works ok and no wobbles, I have a problem with the space bar. I think the brown switch cannot take the weight of the space bar as it's not as bouncy as the stock PBT cap.

i own the SA Round 4 "space cadet" set and SA caps definitely wobble.

they are still amazing and it doesn't bother me when i type. but i would be lying if i didn't say there is a wobble.

Is it the height that's an issue, or is it because they have loose stems?

Wait, so do they wobble consistently? Because Belfong said they have no wobble but two others say they wobble. Confusing!

I would assume it's the standard amount of wobble in most mx switches, but the height of the SA profile makes it seems worse.

I think definition of wobble in order. I understand that most mechanical switches, being mechanical and having individual parts moving would inevitably wobble. So, if you rest your finger on a key and trying to move it left and right, the key wobble. Even the HHKB has some sort of wobbling. But to me, those are not wobble. Wobbling is when you type and the moment you move your finger to another key, the one you have just pressed start to shake. That's wobbling to me and the SA profiles doesn't demonstrate that on the MX Brown.
