I made a thread about this maybe six months ago but that's not the one I'm thinking of. Anyways, I think the conclusions of the thread was that it seems silly to have a limited edition keyboard where they only offer MX reds, full size, and has "MX Inside" printed on it.

I think the keycaps are cool and I like seeing Cherry offer things like this but I wish it was something more special. If it's limited edition, I think it should be something more unique.

They should be doubleshots actually.

Yeah if the model number is right this should be spot on. I hate reds but I'll probably buy this just for nostalgic reasons, might even swap the reds out for browns.

Robin the Cherry employee that first revealed this on deskthority specifically stated it's doubleshots that will be made by GMK so I don't know why some of you seem to believe it's speculation. Even if Cherry would have cheaped out they would probably have gone with engraved red infill on POM and PBT not pad printing.

I do agree it's not terribly creative, but it is still nice enough. I have a feeling I will probably go with the light grey model.

Ultra low resolution but it's the first real pic I've been able to find of it so far. God I hope that 'MX inside' badge isn't on the final product.

Red/black doubleshot looks pretty nice... I still think I would favor the red/light grey one though.

I can't trust that. The whole page shows 1865 lasered pom 'special hardcase' model, except for picture of long unavailable WNV edition that included for no reason. I don't think that have doubleshot at all.

I have doubts myself, I'm keeping an eye on those pages and once they start showing some pictures I'll post an update. Several of them do mention that they are on pre-order and they don't have photos yet so I'm hopeful at least.
