New Here and Need Help With Decision

Hello GH community. I am really glad I found this site.

I am going to buy a mechanical kb (my first) and I am going insane deciding. I realize that this will not be my first and last mech kb, but for now I can only get one, as I am making other purchases along side it. I do not recall how does a mech kb feel and so I have nothing real to make a decision on, but I think that I will like the blues, st least as my first.
I have been doing a lot of research and narrowed down my list to the following (please bare in mind that yes I do type, and am a graphic designer, however my main concern with this kb purchase is gaming):

1. Filco Ninja Majestouch 2 TKL Blue Switches- I heard and saw a lot about it and aside from all the amazing reviews, I love the way it looks (i realize that those key-caps could be bought separately)
2. Ducky Shine III Blue Switches Either red or orange leds
3. Logitech G710+ (just saw this, though it was mentioned a lot before, but I never looked into it until now)
4. Matias Quiet Pro (same case as the logitech)
5. Corsair K95 or 70 - This has been driving me insane. All the reviews aside, I love the way the k95 looks and plus it has leds, media controls, macros (do not have any experience with macros, so I do not know if I would use them, but I hate that the macros are just this thing they STUCK to the actual board) The k70 I like the black board with red leds, but the problem is that; 1. the k95 is only red cherry mx (but then again I have no experience here, though I want a blue for a start) and 2. the k70's blue switch is gunmetal which i think looks terrible, not the blackboard)

I went through list after list, narrowing down my choices as I went and I was left with the Filco and corsair mentioned above, however today I looked into the G710+ and the Matias and am going insane, so I decided to post here and see what you guys think

EDIT: I forgot to mention that (and correct me if I am wrong) some are ps/2, which I want and some are not (converter maybe?)

The common wisdom seems to be: Get the Ducky if you need/want backlighting, otherwise get the Filco (great build quality).

hmm, yes, that is what I thought was the general consensus was, but I had to make my own list/thread and ask.

What do you think of the other kb I mentioned, aside from the filco. anyone here game on a filco, how is it? It is my no.1, so I really want to make a well thought out, informed decision

If I were to pick a single Cherry MX manufacturer over all others, it would definitely be Filco. I've never really had much of a need for backlighting.

I don't game much anymore, so most of my experience is with writing and programming. However, most people seem to focus on switches, not boards, when talking about how well a keyboard performs in a given task.

The drastic oversimplification is: blues are best for typing, reds best for gaming, browns a reasonable middle-ground. Mileage varies, though.

yes daerid, to be honest, I do not think I will have a use for the leds either (as my rig would light up the area enough, plus I am not looking at them as I play or type)

what about all the other features, the media etc, do you ever feel like you are missing something on the filco ninja 2 tkl? what about when gaming AND when using programs like Adobe Master Collection (PS, ILL, InD, AE, Premier etc), Maya/Zbrush/3dsmax/lightwave (usually other peripherals are used, aside form kbs) etc. I mean thinking about it, I do not think that aside from what is being offered on the Ninja 2, that I will need to use any other key(s), but I must ask
