« on: Tue, 17 December 2013, 19:41:09 »
Brand new. Waited a month and a half to receive a missing keycap. Decided to go with something else while waiting.
Complete 104-key set.
Looking for $40 shipped. Verified paypal only.
Might be interested in a tkl keyboard for trade.

Why are you trying to sell them for $40 when you can get another set on Massdrop or in the GH groupbuy for $33 shipped? *******. I hope you don't sell jack.

Lets do the math $33 + $2.96 shipping from Massdrop (screenshot from the last sale) + ~$7 USPS Flat Rate shipping, coming out to ~$43 in total cost to OP before Paypal fees.  And that's for brand new, unused caps.  I fail to see the problem.  This is not a case of massive profiteering, it's a case of breaking even on something that sold out quickly.

Now if they were selling it for $60+...but they're not.

his target buyer is someone who doesn't want to wait. And on geekhack, lots of people are impatient. It'll probably sell.

Welcome to Geekhack!

What made you say that?  An unusual first post (well, second actually, but the first was identical).

Yeah, but two "GLWS" posts that don't count towards the post count, and nothing else?

If you think the price is too high, send me an offer.

Just trying to get back what I paid for them. Rounded to $40. :]

Oh yeah, and you're getting a full set without missing keycaps. I doubt I'll be buying from Massdrop again after dealing with their CS.

And I think the blues may be harder to get....
