Does anyone know where you can still buy a Poker X? I've been looking but can't really find it anywhere. I was going to post a WTB thread but I am too new of a member. Anyone with any knowledge on this would be awesome!

Its pretty much discontinued. Either classifieds(in which you stay here and get 60 meaningful posts) or get the newer version the poker II

Okay so it seems my best bet is to say screw it and get the poker 2. Odds are that I wont be removing the stems or springs themselves but i will be wanting to wire for leds and im sure theres a thousand guides out there on how to do it on a Poker 2. Everyone says the plate is better for feeling so I really dont see a downside to getting the Poker 2 over the Poker X anymore.

to wire leds you just put it through the hole in the front of the switch and then solder on the backend. pretty simple

Some do prefer PCB mount switch over plate mount as it expresses switch feeling differently.

Also you can buy backlit poker 2 now.

I'm on my phone or else I'd provide links, but there have been a few write ups on adding LEDs to non backlit poker 2 if you just want a project.

Please keep in mind that Poker X direction keys are on the right keys whilst poker II is on ASWD keys. Plus the thick PBT caps of Poker II is very nice addition. I highly recommend you buy the thick PBT version of Poker II and then customise

Holding down Fn will have WASD function as arrows.

WASD as arrows keys in the Poker X can be inloked with chorded FN+WASD but they cannot be set.
