The last one in this range ($100 shipped) was gone before the electrons were dry on my post linking to the auction.

Heh, I wondered if that might be you. No worries, I obviously didn't want it that bad, with my lowball snipe. :)

welcome to the Model F brotherhood

One of these days I will have the time and energy to do the ANSI mod and add Alt keys to mine ......

I saw it while at job, but I had to leave to get kids. After lunch, I went back and didn't found it (was on my watch list). At least it went to someone from GH!

I saw it

As I said in my dissertation, if you see a Buy-It-Now that you want, Buy It Now!

Just click "buy"

You can pay for it in 2 hours when you get home.

I know, but I was not 100% sure I wanted this one. First, I want to try my XT F for a few days to be 100% sure I will use an F daily. Still waiting on parts for a Soarer. Also, this once looked in a more used shape than I might have wanted. It was really yellowed and the cable was damaged (even if working). So I was still hesitating and I am not mad not to get it. Shipping was not so low for me also, even if it was ok.

When I realised it was gone, I was only thinking that I wished it was someone from GH at least, so I was more happy than anything else to see JD got it.

seriously i'm always late when it comes to bidding.

Do not bid - snipe.

As soon as you see something you want, put in a snipe at the highest amount that you are willing to pay, and then forget about it.

One day you will get lucky.
